Marquetry and veneer furniture.

   

Marquetry is a technique that involve cutting different timber veneers, and gluing them together to produce a pattern or picture, and then using this to adorn furniture, boxes etc. I learnt this skill during my time at Linley's workshop, and as the photos show I have used this in great effect on jewellery boxes, tables etc.
