The process for commissioning a piece of furniture can be a big decision for many people and so I try to make it as smooth and easy as can be. It starts often with a phone call or visit from you the client, with an inquiry for something to be made. Often after a short conversation, a site or home visit would be suggested. This would be to measure up the room where the furniture is intended for, and to check out any difficulties like electric boxes etc. Also during this visit, timber choices are talked about and provisionally chosen.

I will then make up some design drawings and a full quote, and send these to you. On receiving these, any small changes can easily be made. A deposit of 50% of the total cost is required to secure the order.

Once this is done the timber and any other materials will be ordered and work will commence. I am very happy for you to visit the workshop and witness the furniture in different stages of construction.

Once finished, delivery or fitting is arranged and carried out. The final payment would be due at this time.

I have had many happy customers, and below are some of their comments.

"The cabinet is perfect, very well made. Thank you."

"Thank you for our wonderful kitchen. Your design, making and fitting are excellent, and we have had many admirers."
